FIRST® stands for For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology. FIRST Robotics is a global organization that inspires young people to explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) through hands-on robotics challenges. Teams of students collaborate with mentors to design, build, and program robots to compete in exciting competitions. Through FIRST, participants develop invaluable skills in teamwork, problem-solving, and leadership while fostering a passion for innovation and discovery.
